Sucess for Austrian teams at the 63rd International “Auffahrtsturnier”

On May 14, the 63rd International “Auffahrtsturnier” took place in Frauenfeld, organized by the Wigoltingen Fistball Club. Numerous teams from Switzerland and Austria, as well as the Swiss national teams, provided top-level fistball action. Matches were held in the women’s, men’s, and youth categories.Despite cool weather and occasionally poor conditions, spectators enjoyed exciting, high-level matches. The teams showed great dedication and engaged in many close contests.

In the men’s category, UFG Grieskirchen/Pötting (AUT) ultimately prevailed. In a thrilling final against the Swiss national team, Grieskirchen (AUT) secured the tournament victory and, with it, 600 points for the World Tour Ranking.

In the women’s competition, the Swiss National Team A claimed the tournament title. The two top teams on the World Tour were DSG UKJ Froschberg(AUT) in 3rd place, followed by FG Elgg-Ettenhausen(CH) in 4th.Both teams were thus able to secure valuable points for the World Tour rankings.
