The new season of the IFA Faustball World Tour begins next weekend with the first tournament of the year. From March 21 to 23, the international tournament series will start its new competitive year in Novo Hamburgo. The Copa Victor Körbes 2026 (category IFA 600) will award the first world ranking points of the season.
The event also marks the beginning of a South American tournament block. Following the opener in Novo Hamburgo, two more stops on the continent will follow: the Copa Porto Alegre Internacional de Punhobol in Porto Alegre (March 27–29, IFA 1,000) and the tournament in Rosario (IFA 600).
Player lists only accepted digitally
Clubs must also take note of an important organizational change this season.
Player lists must now be submitted exclusively in digital form. Registration is possible until the evening before the first day of the tournament. Submitting player lists on site at the tournament venue will no longer be possible. Teams are therefore asked to submit their line-ups in time via the respective online system.
Top four teams qualify for the World Tour Finals
The start in Brazil also marks the re-launch of the IFA Faustball World Tour. In total, the 2026 calendar includes 22 tournaments in six countries, including six events in the highest category, IFA 1,000. The tournaments not only award world ranking points but also serve as qualification for the IFA World Tour Finals 2027, the club world championship in Fistball.
It has already been confirmed that the top four teams in the overall ranking (men’s and women’s competitions) will secure their tickets to the IFA World Tour Finals 2027. A total of 112 club teams from nine nations have registered for this year’s World Tour.
First European tournaments in April
After three tournaments in South America, the World Tour will move to Europe at the beginning of April. The first European ranking points will be awarded on April 11 and 12 at the International Fistball Tournament in Karlsdorf-Neuthard and at the Eulach Tournament in Elgg—both events belonging to the IFA 1,000 category.

Meldungen nur noch digital möglich
Für die Vereine gilt in dieser Saison eine wichtige organisatorische Neuerung:
Die Spielerlisten müssen künftig ausschließlich digital eingereicht werden. Die Meldung ist bis zum Vorabend des ersten Turniertages möglich. Eine Abgabe von Spielerlisten vor Ort beim Turnier ist nicht mehr vorgesehen. Teams werden daher gebeten, ihre Aufstellungen rechtzeitig über das entsprechende Online-System zu übermitteln.
Top4-Teams qualifizieren sich für World Tour Finals
Der Start in Brasilien ist zugleich der Auftakt für den Re-Start der IFA Faustball World Tour. Insgesamt umfasst der Kalender 2026 22 Turniere in sechs Ländern, darunter sechs Veranstaltungen der höchsten Kategorie IFA 1.000. Die Turniere dienen nicht nur zur Vergabe von Weltranglistenpunkten, sondern auch als Qualifikation für die IFA World Tour Finals 2027, die Klub-Weltmeisterschaft im Faustball. Fest steht dabei, dass die besten vier Mannschaften (Wettbewerb Männer & Frauen) der Rangliste ihr Ticket für die IFA World Tour Finals 2027 erhalten. 112 Vereinsmannschaften aus neun Nationen haben sich für die diesjährige World Tour registriert.
Erste Europa-Turniere im April
Nach drei Turnieren in Südamerika verlagert sich die World Tour Anfang April nach Europa. Die ersten europäischen Punkte werden am 11. und 12. April beim Internationalen Faustballturnier in Karlsdorf-Neuthard sowie beim Eulach-Turnier in Elgg vergeben – beide Veranstaltungen gehören zur Kategorie IFA 1.000.
