From August 1 to 2, the international fistball elite gathered at the 61st Raiffeisen Obersee Masters in Jona (CH). Teams from Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and Brazil delivered two days of exciting, high-level matches. The heat pushed the players to their limits and made this long-standing tournament a particularly challenging one.
In the men’s competition, an all-Austrian final was on the schedule following a strong tournament run. TV Wohnplan Enns (AUT) successfully avenged last year’s final champion, defeating FBC Linz AG Urfahr (AUT) 2–0 in sets. In a closely contested match, the Enns team clinched both sets in the closing stages. The match for third place was also firmly in Austrian hands: Union Compact Freistadt prevailed over the Union Tigers Vöcklabruck.

The women’s competition also featured fistball at the highest level. After three consecutive Brazilian tournament victories, TSV Dennach (GER) broke the South American dominance and secured the Obersee Masters title for the first time since 2015. In the final, the German team defeated the Austrian representative, FBV Grieskirchen, 2–0. The third-place match was also won by a German team: Ohligser TV narrowly defeated Union Compact Freistadt (AUT).
