The 58th Eulach Tournament, hosted by FG Elgg-Ettenhausen (CH) took place on the weekend of April 11–12. Teams from Switzerland, Austria, and Germany competed in exciting matches across seven categories as well as in the youth competition.
In the men’s tournament, two Austrian teams faced off against each other. TV Wohnplan Enns (AUT) prevailed over ÖTB Drösing (AUT) securing the tournament victory and the first points for the ranking. Also the home team from FG Elgg-Ettenhausen (CH) on fourth place secured 600 points for the world.
In the women’s competition, three Swiss teams fought a fierce battle for the top three places. In the end, the team from Kreuzlingen (CH) took first place, followed by the home team, FG Elgg-Ettenhausen (CH). This adds 1000 points to Faustball Kreuzlingen (CH) and 800 points to Elgg-Ettenhausen (CH). The bronze medal and as well as 600 points go to TSV Jona (CH)
Overall, the tournament offered a varied and high-quality program with many exciting matches—a successful and high-scoring weekend for all participating teams on the World Tour.
