The 67th International Grenzland Tournament—and thus the last 1000-point tournament—took place August 8–9, 2026, at the Aegeten Sports Complex in Widnau. Over the course of two days, 128 teams competed in ten categories for the tournament title. International participation was once again strong: Teams from Switzerland, Austria, Germany, and Brazil delivered top-class fistball action.Summer-like temperatures pushed the players to their limits. The high temperatures posed additional challenges, especially on Sunday.
Eighteen teams competed in the top men’s category. The team from Pfungstadt secured the tournament victory, ahead of STV Oberentfelden and TV Stammheim. As the top team on the World Tour, TV Stammheim secured the 1000 points.

On Sunday, the women’s tournament with 11 participating teams took place. In the final against VfL Kellinghusen, Union Compact Freistadt secured the tournament victory and thus the full number of points. TSV Jona finished in third place.

Thus, an exciting and high-caliber Grenzland Tournament came to a successful close under ideal summer conditions.
